At first, I was thinking this was just another 'Say No to Drugs' assembly, but I was quickly proven wrong. Your introduction quickly caught my attention and did not lose it until the final sentence of your story. It is very hard to turn down drugs when everyone around me is using them. I can relate to the peer pressure you must have faced . Your presentation showed me that I am not alone. You gave me the reassurance that I am doing the right thing, even though sometimes it feels like I'm not. For this I am forever grateful, and wish you to help other kids that may be in the same or worse situation I am .

I have seen hundreds of professionals do presentations throughout the public school system and none have gotten the attention of our youth as has Vision Warrior. We at WBLS praise the efforts of this young man and hope he continues to stimulate and inspire the minds of our youth.

Your engaging-- even riveting monologue tackled the difficult task of opening the minds and hearts of the audience to thoughtful consideration of addictions specifically drug addictions. Your honest sharing of your own personal journey, which bordered on near self-destructive dependency, is a hallmark to your personal and professional courage. It was powerful theater! Students and staff alike were moved by your performance and it has provoked, already, considerable reflection and discussion throughout the campus.

Vision Warrior is still buzzing at school, in the hallways, the lunchroom and in the classroom. Your performance was by far the most powerful and touching experience students and staff had experienced all year. Your incredible life story and your amazing skill as an actor has touched my students life as well a s my own. Your message has left a positive and healthier direction for the students here at Talent Unlimited High School and we are grateful. Thank You!

The most impressive aspects of 'Vision Warrior' are the powerful impact and lasting impression on your audience. You have become an integral part of our substance abuse prevention / education / intervention program. We are proud to have you on board in our ongoing efforts toward helping young people make positive and constructive decisions in life. Respectfully, Rosemary Baldi C.S.W. Dear Scot,

Today I was fortunate enough to attend the Operation Pride Drug and Alcohol abuse forum today. I went to see your presentation because just two weeks ago you came to my school (Roslyn High School) and I did not get a chance to see you perform so I figured that I would come and watch you today.I have to tell you honestly, that I thought you were outstanding. My mother is very active in MADD, because she was hit by a drunk driver when she was only 16, so I have been to many presentations concerning drugs and alcohol and I just wanted to tell you that nothing has kept my attention for that amount of time. I don't think that I even took the time to blink because I was afraid that I would miss something. I also felt that I should tell you that I have heard nothing but wonderful things from my fellow classmates at school about how wonderful you were. I just thought that I admire you for having so much courage to talk to students and tell them about your experience.

Thanks again for something that I will never forget for as long as I live.
Sincerely, C. Roslyn High School
